Mother of Pearl
Pearls are exquisite, but expensive and with so many ‘cultivated’ these days, caution needs to be exercised in obtaining them. However, we can access the beauty, essence and energy of them through Mother of Pearl, the shell that surrounds the pearl as it grows through ‘irritation’ from a grain of sand or parasite, giving a quality of tolerance. Formed in water, they are associated with emotions. Intuition and the Moon and they are very calming, balancing emotions and encourage flow.
They are one of the ‘crystals’ associated with Kwan Yin and the 8th Ray and therefore with the year 2024, peace, compassion and mercy.
