Libyan desert glass, aka Libyan Glass Tektite, Libyan Golden Tektite or Great Sand Sea glass is found in areas of the Sahara deserts of eastern Libya and western Egypt. Generally said to be a meteorite/tektite, its impact scattered pieces over a vast area and has been dated as having formed about 29 million years ago. It was used by early man to make tools.

Energetically and spiritually, having travelled through space and hurtling through our atmosphere to crash onto the surface and fuse with the earth, all Tektites connect us with the Cosmos, to other worlds, realms, galaxies, star systems and ‘peoples’ beyond our tiny planet. And with that can come great wisdom and learnings a\s we gain the cosmic overview and blend it with our Earthly experiences and practicality.
