Garnet is a tremendously grounding and yet energising stone which works well at the Base chakra in particular. It stimulates passion, controls anger, strengthens our survival instincts and helps to clear deeply ingrained responses. Comprising of many different minerals Garnets can be found in many colours but are mostly associated with the dark-red variety which resonates strongly with the Base Chakra and they are powerfully energising and all colours speed up healing processes. They are all warming and resonate with Fire energy so are useful for stimulating sluggish energies, damp and cold.
