Spring Equinox  & Peace Grid 2026

As usual, I have created a crystal grid for the upcoming quarter day, the Spring Equinox (northern hemisphere) on 20^th March 2026 at 14:46 GMT

 
Given the potency and potential of the astrology, it is no surprise that the grid is not ‘usual’. Normally, I would recreate the chart for the moment with a crystal grid, using crystals and items to represent the planets in their positions and that was how this began, but it evolved into much more. Below I share how I created this grid, the crystals and items involved and some details of the qualities I felt these were bringing. I also include photos I took along the way, which you can use in whatever way appeals to you. They are very useful for tuning into the grid and the energies and I recommend using those that draw you in the most, where you notice certain crystals or the descriptions of their form of support, especially if it resonates with yourself at this time. Links to the crystals are included in the names, where available, so you can investigate further and obtain any you feel might help you.

Creation of the Grid

As well as an astrology board for the chart itself, I had to use another which felt like it represented peace, at the centre of this are angel wings with hands clasped in prayer with four feathers around the outside. These two boards were set down beside each other. Backing up my thought of peace for the second board, the first crystals that wanted to be included were my Selenite dove and a Santa Eulalia Calcite which emanates pure light. These were to go between the boards and outside, holding the space.

The two boards had to be linked and an obvious choice for this was my Smoky Quartz very long point which fractured many Moons ago and is the perfect example of why, when crystals break or split there can be a very good reason and you shouldn’t throw them out! The original wand/point was extremely long and was actually more usable once split and represents two halves of something or two (opposing) sides and often sit across a chart where there are planets in opposition. They were perfect here, sitting parallel to each other and helping to join the boards and energies to flow in both directions.

Grounding the energies on the peace board, four mini Staurolites sat on the outside feathers whilst an Eye of the Storm heart sat in the middle, doing what it says, keeping us calm in the midst of outside chaos. In the centre of the Chart board went a Shangaan Amethyst, the next step up from a Brandberg/Brandenberg and  very much here, representing stepping into our Soul potential. 

This first stage of the grid stayed in place for 24hrs and then evolved with the addition of four natural red garnet pieces in matrix, grounding the initiating energies of Aries and the Spring Equinox whilst energising the chart board and two Doves carved in White Jade. The garnets were placed on the four angles and the four signs of the Equinoxes and Solstices, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

Again the grid rested and integrated for a day and then it was time to recreate the chart. However, it evolved rather differently than usual, without having individual pieces representing the planets and I had been guided to put Aries on the left horizon (9 o’clock on the chart) rather than orient it as per the chart, shown above for Greenwich, UK.

Instead, it evolved into having something on or in each of the signs which felt as if it was integrating all separate parts into a/the whole, so integrating the different parts or aspects of ourselves. The crystals and items placed were:-

Optical Calcite – Leo

Kwan/Quan Yin statue, representing compassion, for ourselves as well as others – Virgo, South Node

Calcite Temple – Scorpio

Star Being (one of my personal crystals, NFS) – Sagittarius, encouraging communication with our Galactic peers and guides and remembering of our Starseed roots

Natural Astrophyllite - this crystal represents the spiritual and mundane. It can help us to open our perspective out to the cosmos and realise that there are no limits to our potential and thus helps us to realign to our Soul path. It helps us to release what is outgrown in our life without guilt. – Capricorn (associated with the mundane)

Anandalite, keeping the aura/energy field clear – Aquarius, Pluto, later a Pyrite dragon was added, sitting on the top, helping to reveal the truth, bringing a grounded sense of reality whilst dispersing worry and frustration

Aquamarine, associated with Neptune which rules Pisces and I also felt its connection here to Sirius – Pisces, retrograde Mercury, North Node, Mars

A decorative small heart trinket box and a Chiastolite tumble – Aries, Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Moon, Chiron

Egyptian Alabaster acts as a bridge to the future or alternative realities, connecting the known with the unknown, the seen with the unseen. – Taurus, Uranus

Charoite, as well as bringing insights from past lives it felt as if this is assisting us to release deep fears, overcoming resistance and frustration and bringing perspective, helping us to accept the present moment as perfect.  – Gemini, Jupiter

In addition, four Elite Shungites were added around the outside, in between the Garnets. They assist connecting to zero point and clearing the mind.

That completed the chart grid and then further crystals were added to the peace grid.

4 x Carnelian kite shapes, bringing gentle warming energy and optimism, assisting with the Sacral chakra

Mangano Calcite, promoting self-love, self-care and forgiveness, 3 tumbles were added plus my personal dragon who chose to face out of the grid, releasing energies

A natural piece of Copper, a fantastic conductor of energies and connecting to Venus and feminine, peaceful vibrations, eases conflicts and promotes positive outcomes, sat on top of the Eye of the Storm heart in the centre.

One thing that I had sort of overlooked, as it was already in place and was under the table where the grids were, was the influence of a mega huge Smoky Elestial Quartz. Whilst I have always felt that this crystal helps to bring organisational qualities (the planes act as steps to follow and step up), it also helps to bring deep healing, grounds, clears and integrates energy and Judy Hall recommended it as a karmic healer. Again, this was left in place for 24 hours, astrological note here that Jupiter was then stationary and went direct early the next day, after which more additions could be made. This left only Mercury retrograde, turning direct just hours after the Equinox.

Tuning in again, nothing needed to be changed on the chart grid but additional crystals were to be added to the peace grid. As I was looking around my healing room to see if anything jumped out at me, my large Grape Agate/Chalcedony literally fell on the floor at my feet, miraculously completely unharmed. OK, that was clearly a signal that it wanted to be involved and it went outside of the board with just its edge overlapping, as if part of holding the space but not being separate. This is a very calming crystal that also encourages community and helps us with our inner terrorist! The others to be added were Lumis x4 which sat inside of the Mangano Calcites, Orange Kyanite x6 and Azeztulites x3, all of which are crystals whose numerology matches the year, reducing to ten and therefore also one. These were placed around the central Eye of the Storm heart radiating outwards, apart from one of the Azeztulites that wanted to sit on the Grape Chalcedony. The other two went along the horizontal axis either side of the heart, overlapping the Carnelian kites.

So those are the grids to date, nothing has been changed since then and it does feel settled for now, but they do often evolve so I will keep checking back in to make any adjustments that are needed.
