Lapis Lazuli is a very calming, harmonising stone. It is great for meditation and for relieving stress, brings balance, truth, justice and peace, stimulates personal power and harmonises conflict. It has a long association with Egypt, the Third Eye where it stimulates intuition and memory recall and the Throat chakra where it helps with communication and expressing our opinions.

It ranges from mottled blues and whites to the finest quality which has very deep blue and is most prized with lots of pyrite, giving it its gold glimmer. It can also contain sodalite and/or have a matrix of Calcite.

Buddhists use Lapis with Medicine Buddha meditations and many of this stone’s qualities resonate with the sign Libra.

These are thin, flat, polished blades which have many uses.
