S1982 Very Special Milky Way Flint
I have a very large (approx 2 feet across?) piece of the Milky Way flint. The back was relatively plain but intrigued me enough to turn it over...... and it revealed the most stunning sparkly, baby-blue crystals, as well as fossil markings and a couple of shells. It is the only piece that I have found like that, until now....
Similarly, this looks like a nice and 'ordinary' piece of the Milky Way, blue on one side and more brown on the other. And then I spotted a more intense blue on the edge, which to the naked eye looks flat and solid, but when zoomed in on, showed the same amazing blue, sparkly and small nodules of crystal as my big piece. There is also iron staining and two shapes on that side which look very symbolic. I feel this could be a very good tool for investigating, as the drusy on the edge reminds me of looking at the filling in a sandwich, which you can't see from the bread on either side. There is treasure inside, waiting to be discovered!
