Malachite is easily recognised by its dark to light green colour with concentric circles and eye patterns. It is a soothing and balancing crystal that brings about transformation at all levels. It is a very powerful emotional healer and balancer, accessing deep feelings in the unconscious that might be difficult to access consciously and helping to access our inner riches.

Malachite absorbs negative energies and pollutants from the atmosphere and the body It works well with the third eye chakra and if placed there, activates visualisation and psychic vision.  It also works with the heart chakra, opening it to unconditional love and bringing balance and harmony. 

Malachite is a soft stone and salt and oils should not be used on it, and due to its high level of copper it is potentially toxic, and should not be placed in water. It should be used in its polished form. Avoid breathing its dust, and was hands after handling.
