This stone is a form of tin, and is very unassuming, but this very characteristic helps us to understand what is important and to clear energetic debris that is holding us back on our journey.

Cassiterite is linked to astrology and astronomy and helps us to understand the cycles of life and the cosmos, so is perfect for this time of busy and strong astrological energies. It can take us back to the moment of our birth and supports transitions of all kinds, as we move through life’s cycles and can assist at this current incarnation’s end, as we pass back to spirit. It has a strong Earth connection, grounding and connecting to Gaia and can balance our energy as needed and is strongly protective.

It is particularly useful in helping with childhood feelings of rejection, abandonment or disapproval that are underpinning adulthood, and any associated eating disorders. It brings objectivity and understanding and ultimately, forgiveness. Used in meditation, it’s grounding qualities aid problem solving and releasing of anything that is outdated, whilst its manifestation qualities can help to realise dreams for the future.
