Cabochons are polished on the front and flat on the reverse, making them ideal for making into jewelry, but they are very versatile, also making excellent healing tools, being small and unobtrusive enough for the pocket, excellent for healing (the flat back helps them to sit on the body or lie flat and stay in place for a distance healing) or in whatever way appeals to you.
