Shiva Lingam (sometimes spelt Lingham). This is a fabulous balancing, and grounding crystal, and is well known as a stone to help with balancing male and female energy and raising Kundalini. Rather than bringing about equal balance, it is more about uniting, bringing a union of opposites, not just masculine and feminine but also body and Soul, and it has a deep connection with the Earth.

Perhaps a more overlooked characteristic, is that it is excellent at dissolving childhood hurts, and helps us to look inward and release what is outgrown.

The elliptical shape, is created to mirror the 12 shrines in India to Shiva, traditionally one of the supreme beings who creates, protects and transforms the universe.
